Beat the Winter blues
Suffering from S.A.D?
Did you know that the amount of sunlight a person is exposed to can affect their mood, appetite, energy level and even their sex drive?
We tend to see happier more energetic people when the sun is shinning than we would in winter. In fact when it get a little darker and gloomy, many feel more lethargic and less sociable.
This is due to a mood disorder called Seasonal Affective Disorder ( SAD ) or the winter blues' as it is commonly known. The disorder causes people with normal mental health to experience bout of depressive symptoms during one or more of the different seasons year after year.
SAD affect people mostly in the winter
Symptom of SAD tends to occur as days begin to get shorter in the autumn. They worsen as Summer disappears. For most suffers, the symptoms have a tendency to improve by spring and then disappears until the following year.
How common is SAD?
It is thought that SAD affect between 4-6% of people in the Uk.
Outlook
Like other forms of depression, SAD can be a difficult condition to live with. Symptoms can make a person feel tired, stressed and unhappy. However there are many things that can be done to be happier.
Beat the winter blues by going to a hot country.
Nigeria! The luckiest country in the world
May God bless my Nigerian Brothers and Sisters, Nigeria is so beautiful than so called London. Nigeria is rated among
the worlds fastest growing economies and is on the list of the 11 countries to become fully industrialised, there's alot of business going on in Nigeria.
Nigeria is blessed, I am European and i still think Nigeria is the worlds best continent by far, I never knew my dads country is as beautiful as this, Nigeria is where am going to buy a house, it just like America.
Nigeria has the best resources, the best houses, the best famous sites, the first people to have millions and billions of dollars, wisdom, knowledge and understanding and these people are so deluded and hilarious that they say that they dont have nothing, that it isn't them.
Nigeria has massive building, Nigeria is blessed, but just need help using all the resources, God bless them.
Over here in London we are slaves if you work, almost all the money goes to the government then you are only 1/3 of the money so we are just working for the government (slaves) but in Nigeria they don't pay tax.
I wanna become a celebrity
I wanna become a celebrity, to be famously known (and liked :p ) and to have a blasting house party in a huge mansion with big land space with all celebs there!! A dream of mine is to have paparazzi all over me while im walking down the beautifull red carpet looking stunning in a fancy dress. My family isnt very weathy so when I become a celebrity hopefully things will change for my family. Something that realy stands out about me is that I am always smiling and LOVE to be the center of attention , and LOVE to pose for the camera. I would like to become a role model and for people to look up to me. I know that if I try my hardest , I can make it in this world and become a famous celebrity.
Everyday i have a dream that Nigeria is calling me to settle there.
I want to be a philosopher......I am someone who has been around, someone who's goal is to help inspire the next generation..... I have been very fortunate to be around alot of circumstances and I am still growing- in my life and my career and within myself. We get better at things, and I hope never to find myself repeating myself. I want to do big things and most of all, make Nigeria proud by contributing to a progressive next generation. Nigerian with a positive attitude about changing the image of that great country......
I am one of the people who want Nigeria to Change...no matter what nation they come from no matter what is their religion belief....may Nigeria get what it deserves peace......
and i will try my best to fufill it to the end of the world, may the Lord almighty Forgive us all !!!!
If you wanna make Nigeria a better place, take a look at
yourself and then make a change!!
I need to be strong and i will indeed!
The lord walks with me now and if i have to face troubles or pain he will be there to carry me through the trials.....
I enjoy meeting different people from different walks of life. I enjoy investigating and finding out more about how human beings can make a difference, and that passion has really come with my philosophy. I have really enjoyed that because that solid foundation has really helped me to go deeper within myself, to enjoy my newly found discovery, to see the light and to enjoy the works of other people.
I am Nigerian. But born in London but my soul is in Nigerian because i know i was destined to be in Nigeria, I am very passionate about it, I spent a major part of my life in Nigeria roughly about 7 years and I remember every one of those years.
And someone asked me why do i envy others in Nigeria, I envy them because i want to be part of their organisation to be there as a Nigerian! I want to fulfil my dreams as a Nigerian, to contribute to the society, to change the lives of others. I want to care for others and to be part of them.I just wish I could change places with Someone right now, someone who would take my place and I will take their place. It would be great, you see I wasn't meant to be in the UK. And I just wish the lord will make that happen.
I am very proud to be a Nigerian. I would love being over there and I have felt for the longest time that something is calling me to settle there sooner rather than later.........
Whats the anger for
This thing is funny!!! a dude sits in London and starts hating Nigeria, for no reason! Nobody in Nigeria did anything to him, whats all the anger for? were you deprived as a child? whereas others are trying to make things better you are busy hating in London. That's africa and this is Europe i would prefer to stay in Nigeria to have peace of mind and be happy! What has Europe done For us, nothing.wake up.Europe is not bed of roses....
I hate it when Nigerians say negative things about Nigeria, i hate it when Nigerians complain about Nigeria and make no effort to do something (expect for selfish personal reasons), i hate it when Nigerian's are not ready to accept their country for what it is and realise that one man's help could change a lot, i hate it when Nigerians badmouth Nigeria you are not placing a good impact on fellow Nigerian's and people in general.
I hate it when Nigerian's who haven't learnt to accept the bad and good it offers and realise that not everything comes easy, and that one man's poison is another's man's meat if we don't fight for a better tomorrow someone else will (just look at Iraq, the American's had to take out their president because no one was ready to make that first move, think)
If you don't feed the dogs someone else will.....
When shall Nigerians begin to inspire hope more than despondence? When shall we cease from murmuring, grumbling and cursing of fatherland? What is the problem with us,please if we cannot help build Nigeria,at least we should not dampen the hope of many who believe there country can go places, if you cannot help us dream and work greater Nigeria, please will it be too much to shut up? U may remain abroad for as long as you wish,u may see it with ur eyes but never taste it, I love Nigeria, I will die for Nigeria, if that's the least required of me, I will tell all my friends, Nigeria is worth dying for.
And someone who sees Nigeria as not dying for will have every motivation to destroy his or her slightest opportunity! Shame on you people who call yourselves Nigerians, giving the country a bad name.
